The TP-Link TL-WR702N provided the solution to my problem. Initially each 702N had to be connected by ethernet cable to a PC and configured for 'Client Mode' and given a Static IP address. Then each camera (using the supplied ethernet cable) was connected to a 702N and 'joined' the 'wingle' wireless network.
