using ds cam via quickconnect to connect to my surveillance station remotely on my mobile. i'm trying to configure port forwarding but i don't think it's working. i know this isn't the most secure method, but it's simple (supposedly) for me. i've set port forwarding on my router to the ip of my synology and port 5000. firewall rule has been created as well. when i untick the enable Synology QuickConnect allows you to access your Synology NAS anytime, anywhere, from any device and browser, without having to set up port forwarding and firewalls.
