To me the cloak and dagger is better because on the dead ringer most of the time I don't have enough time to run or I get caught in the middle of the battle, while the cloak and dagger I cloak and run and stay at one spot until the ruckus is over. For the dead ringer I usually go to a different path or retreat behind my enemies.
